REGISTER
Children must be registered to participate in the program. Registration form is on the right of this page. More information is available on the registration link on the Religious Education Home Page.
AGES
The Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder Religious Education program is designed for children who will be 4 years old by September 1st through those children in kindergarten.
SCHEDULE
The children meet on scheduled Sunday mornings during the 8:30 or 10:30 Masses. Sessions last one hour. Children must be registered to participate in the program.
CURRICULUM
The curriculum "Celebrating the Lectionary" is from Liturgy Training Publications. Children learn about the Sunday Gospel Story in creative ways as they visit three centers.
- Story Center: Children hear stories told through the use of felt boards, books, puppets, role-playing, or drawings.
- Music/Prayer Center: Children learn praise & action songs as well as Catholic prayers and Bible verses.
- Art Center: Children use various art medium to create take-home art/craft projects.
VOLUNTEERS
Two adult or teen catechists (teachers) are needed in each of the centers.
One adult or teen guide (leader) is needed for each of the groups.

PARENTS
For their safeguard, children must be signed in and out of the classroom by a parent/guardian.
