Seventh Grade Service Blitz
was a huge success!
The students worked hard, had fun and enjoyed their opportunity to serve our community.

The middle school youth are always busy learning more about their faith and how they can follow Christ in serving others. For those students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, we are continuing the two options here at St. Catherine's. First the familiar - we will still have traditional RE classes for Middle School students. These classes will be one hour and offered at two sessions both on Monday, 6:00 to 7:00 PM and 7:15 to 8:15 PM. The students are grouped into grade level classes that are limited to twelve students to a class. They cover the required curriculum and have the opportunity for service too.
This year we will continue the family faith program. With this Generations Of Faith approach, the whole family grows and develops their faith life together. We will have an event one Wednesday evening and one Sunday afternoon (families pick which one to attend) a month from September through May where the families share a meal and learn the topic for that month.
New this year - E-Connect! It's a website access provided as part of our program for our students and their parents to help get connected to their faith. Ask Laura to get you connected! Check it out on the link above!
For ALL middle schoolers, we gather on one Wednesday evening a month for a Middle School Youth Ministry Night. Our students get to share their faith with each other and have fun too!
We also have a sixth grade welcoming retreat - TBA, a seventh grade service blitz in January and an eighth grade graduation retreat in the spring.
