THANK YOU! to the 136 volunteers (which included 60 high school youth, 1 dad, 1 grandfather, and several grandmothers, and many, many moms) that helped to create an amazing experience for the 284 children in the VBS program.

Each day the children visited six learning centers - Bible story, music, crafts, snacks, games, and one center that focused specifically on Catholic traditions, doctrine, prayers, and rituals.

The VBS children have collected over $1300.00, including a $250.00 donation from the middle school Summer Challenge program! The funds will go to the Sisters of Incarnate Word in Rotu, Kenya for a hostel they hope to build for the medical personnel that work at their clinic.
