Summer Challenge is an Austin based service week for youth entering into the 5
th , 6th, 7th, and 8
th grade. This was the 4th Annual Summer Challenge program at St. Catherine and we had over 100 kids participating. Each day of Summer Challenge we explored how to put our Catholic Faith into action and love others as Christ loves us. We took on these challenges as we served others in the Austin community and learned how to connect God’s word to Catholic social justice teachings. By working in teams, we developed friendships and inspired each other as we served many in need of God’s love and caring.
Summer Challenge was a week of friendships and fun, while shining God’s light all over Austin and made our community a better place to live. Check out our video! Thank you to Starlyn for putting it together!
