We are looking for people to serve as catechists, teachers of the faith, in our children’s Faith Formation Program. We need adults who have a love for learning, a love for sharing their faith, and a love for children. Classes are held on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. We also need one or two special adults to help teach a Tuesday evening Confirmation Class for high school students that lasts eight weeks. St. Catherine of Siena Religious Education classes for the 2024-25 school year are now open for registration. Weekly classes for students in grades 1 - 6 begin on Tuesday, September 10. There is also an option for grades 1 - 6 to study at home. The Ignite Middle School, Ablaze High School, and Confirmation classes begin on Sunday, September 8. St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is seeking a skilled keyboard artist to accompany one of our choirs in partnership with its director, cantors and psalmists. The group rehearses on Tuesday evenings and offers music at Mass in the late morning on Sundays. The ideal candidate will be versatile, able to play the many styles of the Church’s music fluently and artfully from printed scores in multiple formats. Our capital campaign, which completed last June, raised $3,200,000. Of this amount we will be given $1,600,000 to use for Church remodeling and repairs.
