Confirmation Class Requirements
- Completion of two full years of Faith Formation (at least 80%) since seventh grade OR two full years of Catholic school since seventh grade.
- Be entering high school grade nine or above and be fourteen years old by September 1.
- A copy of your daughter or son's baptism certificate must also be turned in unless she or he was baptized at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church
The Confirmation Class will have three components this year. From 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. students will attend the Confirmation Class. From 12:15 - 1:15 p.m. students will participate in the Youth Group gathering. Also, students need to attend Mass at least twice a month and submit the Mass Attendance Form and photos. All three components are required for Confirmation. Because this is a one-semester class, no absences are allowed. St. Catherine of Siena parish usually requests from the Bishop for the Confirmation Mass for late February or early March. We will not know the Confirmation Mass date until at least October.
If you are moving to us from a different parish or have no parish affiliation, you must contact the Faith Formation Office before registering for the Confirmation Class.

1. Families must be registered parishioners at St. Catherine's.
2. At least one parent must complete the VIRTUS/EIM program through the Diocese of Austin. This will be the parent who helps out in the classroom.
