Loneliness is spreading rapidly in society, and the elders in our parish are especially affected. Senior Ministry welcomes everyone to join us for our bi-monthly meetings. We can never stop learning about God and God’s love for us, especially at this stage of our lives. We gather twice a month for fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth.
Friends of Faith and Light (Special Needs Outreach)
Our special needs outreach will start gathering on Sunday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m. This monthly opportunity is for anyone with special needs, their families, and friends, to gather for fellowship, Scripture stories, and Fiesta. Sacramental preparation is also available. To find out more, contact pam.neumann@stcatherine-austin.org.
Parish Book Study: One Book, One Parish
We are in year two of the National Eucharistic Revival. As a parish, we have chosen the book “Living the Mass: How one Hour a Week Can Change Your Life.” This book helps us to understand how the Mass prepares us to live out our baptismal call. We invite you to sign up for a small group. Books will be available for $5 from the Adult Education Office later this month. We begin the week of November 5, but each group can set their own schedule. Groups can make arrangements to meet at the parish, in homes or in other places. For more information, please visit stcatherine-austin.org/parish-book-study.
