Before you can register, families must be registered parishioners at St. Catherine, and at least one parent must also complete the VIRTUS/EIM program through the Diocese of Austin. Click here to be taken to the VIRTUS web page.
This is NOT the page for the Confirmation Class. High School students must complete two years of pre-Confirmation to be eligible for the Confirmation Class. Please read the Confirmation and pre-Confirmation requirements here. If you believe your student meets the two year pre-Confirmation requirement, click here to register for a Confirmation Class.
Pre-Confirmation Options: We have two options for youth in grades 9 - 12 (between the ages of fourteen and eighteen), who are not yet ready for the Confirmation Class. Particiation in either option satisfies the two-year pre-confirmation requirement.
Option (1) Sunday Bi-weekly Ablaze Program (See calendar, below.) Click here to register.- Sunday 3:15 - 4:45 p.m.
- $100 per youth. Payment plans welcome. Please contact Erin Hummel to set up a payment plan.
- All parents will be expected to participate as catechists during the year. Materials will be provided, and a schedule will be sent out to families.
Option (2) At-Home Family Faith Formation. Click here to register.- Complete worksheets/handouts/textbook at home as a family to be turned in on a monthly schedule.
- Attend at Sunday Mass at least twice a month and submission of a photo and online form.
- Attend at or participation in six parish events (two a semester) and submission of a photo of your family participating in the event.
- Parents/guardians watch two videos (of your choice) on the Formed platform each semester and submit an online questionnaire for each video.
