This year, in honor of the Feast Day of St. Joseph on March 19, we placed an Altar for St. Joseph in the narthex. This is a custom that is celebrated by the Italian Community, where people place flowers, limes, candles, wine, food in the week before the feast day. It was blessed and donated to various shelters on Austin. Fr. Pat hopes this will be a new tradition and work of Charity for our community during Lent.
