"Our One Great Act of Fidelity: Waiting for Christ in the Eucharist"

We invite everyone to participate in our parish book study this Lent. We will be reading “Our One Great Act of Fidelity: Waiting for Christ in the Eucharist” by Ron Rolheiser. When asked at the Synod listening sessions, “what keeps you close to the Church?” the overwhelming answer was The Eucharist. Staying faithful to Jesus through the Eucharist is the central experience for Catholics through all times and ages.

In Fr. Rolheiser’s slender and personal book he looks at the history and meaning of this sacred ritual. Moving into the Eucharistic Revival, we will start by reading and reflecting on the meaning of the Eucharist for us. We encourage people to get together with friends and share their thoughts. Books are available for $15. The Adult Education Office has a small number of books available to purchase but these books are also available to purchase on Amazon.
