The Souper Bowl of Caring takes place on or around the Super Bowl every year. This is a great way for middle and high school students to serve those in need and earn service hours, as well. Families with younger children are also invited and encouraged to participate! Using our specially decorated soup pots, we collect donations outside of Mass to help fight hunger and poverty in our area.
Here's their Mission Statement:
Using the energy of the Super Bowl to mobilize youth in a united national effort to care for people in their local communities who are hungry and those in need.
Here's their Vision Statement:
Transform the time around the Super Bowl into the nation's largest celebration of giving and serving.
Souper Bowl of Caring February 10 - 11, 2024!
If one of your family's New Year's resolutions was to get more involved in helping others, we have your chance! Super Bowl Sunday is also the day of Souper Bowl of Caring (Tackle Hunger - Home of the Souper Bowl of Caring). All over the country, organizations collect money and food to help alleviate hunger in their communities. Every year, St. Catherine's youth and families participate. For more information on participating, contact Livia Telles-Rodriguez at livia.telles-rodriguez@stcatherine-austin.org.
